Shamea Y. (Morton) Mwangi was born and raised in Atlanta Ga. She graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She has cheered for the Georgia Force (AFL), Atlanta Hawks (NBA) and the Atlanta Falcons (NFL). She began acting in 2002 in the movie “Drumline” and has since appeared in “Single Ladies”, “Lesson Before Love”, “The Marriage Counselor”, “House of Payne”, “TLC Biopic; Crazy, Sexy, Cool”, “Products of the American Ghetto”, “Ride Along 2”, “Meet the Blacks” 2 and “Mocha”. Shamea is currently the in game host for the Atlanta Hawks and she is apart of the cast of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta”. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband Gerald and daughter Shya. Shamea is passionate about singing, dancing and acting and she aspires to make her mark in the industry as a triple threat. Shamea is strong in her faith and gives God the credit for her countless blessings.
